I saw this pattern on Pinterest - SO SIMPLE - I thought I'd get good use out of my paper, die cut machine & MINC added a couple snowflakes embellishments & it's good to goo - Simple & clean :) I used the pencil in the second picture to show the shine from the MINC machine foil - LOVE THIS MACHINE!
Our family happens to have more than Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years to celebrate at this time of the year. This was my first attempt at a Shaker Card. I think it turned out pretty good for the first time. Need some more practice - but it will improve I'm confident of that!
Got some distressed ink cubes & also used my MINC machine - LOVE the way this card turned out - need to practice more with the distressed inks - especially the darker colors (BLUE/GREEN) but I love the concept & learning new techniques!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE this die from My Favorite Things! I did a blending of blues on the Left Picture & then die cut it & the Right was the rainbows - So So So love the way they turned out! Used sentiment stamps from Simon Says Stamp (Left is the November Card Kit Thanksgiving Stamp Set & Right is from the Hand Lettered Christmas Stamp Set)
LOVE the polka dots, just used my ink pads and the blending tools to make the dots, then added the sentiment. I was so excited to get my SHIMMER GOLD spray from Fun Stampers Journey - so I took this outside to spray it LIGHTLY to give it a SHIMMER, however, I need practice - 1 pull of the trigger left splotchy drips and a definite ORANGE tint to the bottom left corner. Cute card gone BAD! UGH - who knew I'd need practice with a spray? :(
I've had a life-changing event happen this last week, not coaching for the 2016-17 winter cheer season, as previously thought. There was not enough interest in the high school among the young women. Therefore, I find myself at home, with more crafting time on my hands.
